I suppose the evidence is only about short breaks, because thats what they tested. I hope there are ongoing trials of the impact of longer duration breaks.

@InBabel Interesting point - I think for most social media has become an acceptable crutch in terms of dealing with daily life or dissociating from it.

@InBabel Social media can have benefits.

It can be a great way to extend your professional network and to find out about opportunities you otherwise would not have discovered.

But usage has to be kept in check.
