Continuing to share favourite images from my 30+ year photographic career. Current focus is on bikes. This is Jonathan Kennett crossing the Maramataha stream on what is now the Timber Trail in central North Island, New Zealand. There’s now a 50-metre suspension bridge. I did go back a few years later to ride the completed trail—photo tomorrow.

@JonSparks I have ridden here as well! I cycled the Tour Aotearoa in 2016, organised by the Kennett Bros, that included the excellent Timber Trail.
@Blackhound I rode with Simon that day as well as Jonathan, and they used one of my Queenstown photos in the final edition of the NZ MTB guidebook.
@JonSparks That was nice. I had a copy of that book, I think, but passed it on to friends who were planning to go there.
