@KimSchebler a fan of Marquez and a writer of Magical Realism? NOICE! I’ve got to try my hand at writing MR at some point. It’s an intimidating pool to jump into. Years ago, I wrote a term paper on Marquez’s use of flowers in his short stories. I love him.

That sounds like a term paper I would enjoy reading! I remember flowers being prominent in Love in the Time of Cholera too. :)
