Some things to think about and maybe share in reactions and impressions to : What did you know about the movie going in if anything? What struck you visually at the beginning and/or throughout? What were some initial things that tipped the female protagonist off that things were not right with her getaway date? What films/filmmakers is this reminiscent of? Did you feel it was necessary to understand the mythical allusions to enjoy and understand this?

What do you think of Meredith and Bruce, the two main characters? What are they like? What do you think motivates and drives them? Where are they psychologically when they begin their trip together? Also, for comments which involve the ending, it is suggested to use a content warning spoiler alert. Or if you would prefer, use a spoiler alert for any post about the movie. I'm new to the platform and am learning about these things.

And feel free to pose your own questions! Or comment however you would like, not necessarily in response to anything. Cheers.

@MargaretSefton I usually post with a CW of something like A Wounded Fawn Discussion - Possible Spoilers.

This automatically defaults all responses to my questions as CW'ed. 😃

There were a lot of red flags from the beginning. The way he touches her knee without asking her, how he refuses to stop so she can go to the bathroom, just to name a few. I think it was well captured how women brush such things aside even though deep down they already have a strong disturbing feeling. When the guy refuses to drive you home and you have no other way to get away. Phew. Horror any of us could get into
