My Saturday night, a very good time indeed. Applying neem oil, an organic treatment for pests, to the leaves and soil of a couple of house plants, the Calathea Rufibarba in the background, a Pink Princess Philodendron in the foreground, the latter newly acquired last week. 💜

On a low coffee table sits a lush green plant in a cream-colored pot. It has large open deep green leaves except for variegations of pink and white. It sits in a glass casserole dish which has been placed on a white towel to protect the table. A small stainless steel plant mister sits beside it on the towel. In the background of the living room is barely visible the dark green leaves of the tall calathea rufibarba. It sits in front of my entertainment center which is festooned with books, pictures, a candle, and white string lights. A beige armchair is partially visible on the left-hand side of the entertainment center/fireplace as well as a glass and gold wall-mounted tv cabinet above the entertainment center/fireplace.
