I'm watching Zombieverse, a new #kvariety show on Netflix, and all the cast have just received emergency alerts because of the zombie virus outbreak. But the show's already established that their zombies are attracted by noise.
And I just realised how setting off the emergency alert in a real zombie situation would probably get so many people eaten who were otherwise quietly hiding. 
@PaxAsteriae how would a well designed alert even work? without any noise, the only people who'd notice right away are people actively looking at their phones at the time.
The first people who would know would be extremely online people lol
@em_7dice I know, it's a no-win situation really. It just made me laugh because they've been throwing stuff around to distract zombies so the others could get tasks done safely and quietly and then, once they were all grouped together, all their phones went off at once.
(Although I think the first people who'd know are the ones who just became zombie food and those immediately adjacent to them.
