Did you see Station Eleven? That was really well done.

I mostly watch crime/suspense shows lately. Ozark, The Wire, Sopranos, Dead to Me, The Undoing. I have more if you like these. I call it "research" - storytelling 101. This has been my top pandemic survival strategy.

@TonjaMReynolds I've heard of Station Eleven but haven't seen it yet. A couple people have recommended it to me before, but for some reason I never put it on my list. Doing it now!!

I absolutely loved The Wire, and I watched We Own This City when that came out earlier this year (also bought the book but haven't read it yet). Ozark is on my TBW list, but I haven't seen the others. I watch the different FBI shows, used to watch the various Law & Orders, so crime/suspense is perfect for me.

The similarities between The Sopranos, The Wire, and Ozark were interesting. Definitely The Wire depicted the police and that whole complicated mess with more nuance (maybe that's not the word exactly) than the other two. Just in terms of storytelling, The Wire wins for me.
