@acdw all raster art is pixel art, but vector based art can be expressed without the use of pixels. Usually a computer uses pixels to display vector art but it should be possible to use something like an autopen to express vector art created on a computer

@duck_dodgers hm that is true, I didn't think of that! Or you could computer generate a cad file that gets 3d printed

@acdw Not if it is vector art. If it is vector-based, the pixels on your screen are a representation of the art, not the art itself.

@NylaWoethief isn't art merely representation though? A painting is the paint on the canvas, not the thing it depicts
