Someone reminded me it's time to post some alternatives to Adobe software:

I'm just going to go through the basics, Photoshop - use GIMP, Krita or IbisPaint, Suma Paint, or one-off pay Affinity Photo. Illustrator - Okay, everyone uses Inkscape, but there's also Boxy SVG and one-off pay for Affinity Designer or Corel Draw Acrobat - PDF XChange, Foxit Reader Premiere - Davinci Resolve, Olive or one off pay for Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas InDesign - Scribus, Canva or one-off pay Affinity Publisher, QuarkXPress
