With a simple update to our site, we've formalized our focus on LGBTQIA+ work and authors. It didn't take us long to realize that we had a type, and this is something we feel 1000% comfortable with!
Wow! February already?! That means just about a month left in both the Acethetic and Genderful calls! Got a story about an asexual character? How about one that explores gender with anthropomorphic characters? Well, have we got the anthologies for you!
Don't forget, we are still open for both Future//Tense: Gender and Acethetic! We would love to read what you have to offer on the future of gender, as well as ace (and aro!) characters!
You can find out more about our open calls here: https://hybrid.ink/submit/anthologies/

Just a few days left to submit to Small Loves! We broke 100 submissions, but are looking for tons more. We'd love to see your short fiction and poetry exploring LGBTQIA+ lives.
There's ONE WEEK LEFT to submit to Small Loves: A Queer Microfiction Anthology! Do you have a very short story to share about LGBTQIA+ lives? Send it our way! We're also accepting poetry.
If you'd still like to submit but feel like you would benefit from a short (~2wk) extension, please feel free to email the editor at madison@hybrid.ink with your idea.
Just a week and change to get your LGBTQIA+ flash and micro fiction in for Small Loves! The more we read, the more excited we get.
Just about three weeks left to submit to Small Loves: A Queer Microfiction Anthology! We're up above 55 submissions now, and looking for lots more.
We are looking for micro- and flash-fiction submissions that explore queer and minority identities
According to the Furry Survey, 9% of the subculture describes itself as not cisgender, with a further 8% reporting "it's complicated". Unsurprising when it's so easy to choose how you interact with others!
What kinds of stories are there to be told?

Future//Tense: Gender
An anthology of transfuturistic science-fiction. The stories within will explore the way gender, transition, and trans issues may change over time.
Thanks to a kind soul, there is one Libro Sospeso of Jen Durbent's poetry collection, canon! If you're looking to pick up some poetry but are a bit strapped for cash, you can now grab it for free: https://hybrid.ink/libro-sospeso/canon/
To learn more about Libri Sospesi, you can read about the program here: https://hybrid.ink/libro-sospeso/
What unique challenges to anthropomorphic characters face when it comes to transition? What is coming out like? How do hormones work? So many questions!
Genderful
We are looking for short story submissions that explore the implications of non-cisgender life within the context of furry.
