I finally did it. I ordered a #remarkable tablet. I can’t wait to see if this’ll fix all my productivity issues. I’m hopeful
@lspencerauthor has it arrived, how are you getting on with it?
@mzauk I actually really like it. I’m not sure I *really* need it but now I can stop buying notebooks and either keep notes. Discard them. Or convert them.
@lspencerauthor Interesting do you happen to have an iPad?
@mzauk I own an iPad. I don’t use it much. It’s mostly a second screen. I work on a 13” laptop and sometimes it’s useful. And I also use it for workout videos.
I like that the Remarkable is e-ink with no glare, and that it feels like writing on paper, but I’m also aware that the Apple Pencil and a paper-like screen protector would have been cheaper.
The Remarkable is a lot of money for a device that only does one thing. But I also appreciate the “no distraction” aspect.
@lspencerauthor I have the iPad Po and iPad mini 6 and would struggle to justify the Remarkable 2 although I’m really tempted by it
@mzauk I kept hesitating for a long time. They offer a 100 day return window and I decided to just pull the trigger and see if I end up using it. If I don’t use it enough it has to go back…
