Pinned toot

Who am I? Where do I come from? What am I doing here?
These are the 3 big questions that any intelligent being poses.
You will find no answers here for the first 2, but I'll be glad to share some hints for the third one.

Pinned toot

The quest is about finding some people who are able to write something meaningful with 500 characters or less without mention of any sexual, climatological or ideological agenda.
Possibly a very small scale equivalent of the old humankind quest for intelligent life in the universe?

If tomatoes are a fruit, doesn't that make ketchup a smoothie?

Which was the app/game/software you had more fun writing in 2019?

A little word game/app that I wrote while testing redlang, and saw being used with great delight, was the Shakespearean Insults Generator for kids. You can download a standalone executable file for windows* from:
c.mail.com/@715627962963075137

* Only for windows because the executable file that I compiled on Debian does not work. (Redlang does not seem to like Linux.)

I'm afraid. My computer just called me Dave.

Yesterday I found a new word:
mollycoddle

I have had at least half a dozen opportunities to use it... All lost! Life is not fair.

If you are on a Linux machine
And want to send some file to a pal also on a Linux machine,
If you're are not in a LAN
And don't know how to create an ad-hoc connection,
If you don't have an USB stick
Or the stick is full with non-erasable files,
"Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—" you can use magic-wormhole, my son!

Sixth day here.
Finally received a sign. Someone marked a monkey quote with a star shaped sign.

Difficulty lies not in new ideas, but giving up the old ones.

This is day 5 here.
I suspect that I'm being followed, but still no contact has been made.

You fight entropy every single day of your life and in the end entropy wins... and you die. 🤭

(You can quote me)

Is the universal language?
Which was (were) your favourite musical theme(s) or musical performer(s) in 2019?

It's difficult to highlight just one theme in a whole year because I like many different genres, but this one came to my mind:

I've been here for two days.
No attempt of communication from any form of intelligent life was made until now.

What book gave you the most pleasure to read in 2019?

As far as I can remember, the most amusing (non-technical, non-scientific) book I read last year was The Diary of a Nobody.

Which was the best movie you watched in 2019?

One of the funniest films, and probably the best screenplay, that I watched last year was Knives Out:
