This is big for my writing. Since I'm taking a realistic, but hopeful look at the future, I'm always making changes about how the world works to support a positive outlook on the future. But it can't be outlandish like "eliminate hunger" or "crime never happens" because it's fantasy unless we can draw a path to it. In the facility story, the next big thing is disempowering police, which is what's already happened in Ash's story. And actually, I've personally decided that the two projects are set in the same vision of the future, if not the same reality just at different times.
