I am greatly enjoying season 3 of Picard, but it's hard for me to watch and not relate what Jack is going through to the experience of an adoptee. Granted, I don't think something in background is threatening to turn me into a weapon to destroy the world as we know it, but I do track with the innate fear of having something dark in your background that can directly impact your life. Depression, drug abuse, suicide, the way I deal with stress, on and on. #adoptee #adoptees
