#Linux distros are like religions: you have one, I have one. We can cohabitate, we can even be friends, as long as we avoid the topic of which one is better.

For completeness:
Let's consider agnosticism, in all their forms, a religion. Similarly, let's consider non-Linux-based OSes, in all their flavors, a Linux distribution.

( Some people use multiple distros, or follow more than one religion )

P.S. The same idea holds for #programming languages, people get almost religious about them.

@kai have you looked at alternatives? I tried Plex for a while and had the same issues. For casual storage of my home video files, it was just kind of a pain. Switched to Jellyfin and haven't had any issues yet. *knock on wood*

I’ve always been a big proponent of journaling and this story from Japan shows how writing can bring joy to those around us, even strangers.

Bruce Schneier on Signal's cryptocurrency adventures:

"""

It’s not just that blockchain is just plain stupid. It’s not even that Signal is choosing to tie itself to a specific blockchain currency. It’s that adding a cryptocurrency to an end-to-end encrypted app muddies the morality of the product, and invites all sorts of government investigative and regulatory meddling: by the IRS, the SEC, FinCEN, and probably the FBI.
