Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter: the three times of year I hate being polyamorous

Ha ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is, "Never get involved in a land war in Asia," but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against a queer when they've had a haircut!"

Second draft of the novel, down! It looks like the novel will be around 66k words. Seems to be my favourite length—that was also the length of The Quantity of Desire.

Still so much more work to be done, of course. But this is another huge step.

I really need to drop a few pounds. To keep as much muscle as possible, I got some HMB.

When people told me it was disgusting, I rolled my eyes. People said the same thing about egg whites.

Yo, HMB is seriously disgusting.

42k into my rewrite of my second novel. It's going slower than I'd like, but I can't argue with the results. This is something special.

After 3 years of hard work, I wrote a book! It launches on Friday! Ahhh!

It's been a long journey, and I've learned and grown so much.

And I know how to make my next book even better

Listening to the audiobook proofs of my novel! It cements my feeling about the novel: that there are a few structural issues that really impact the middle of the book, but it starts and finishes strong.

And I've learned my lesson for my second book, and it'll be much better.
