@pixielauren I believe in you! What's holding you back? Are you stuck? Distracted? Getting slammed with other stuff?
@eleanor -- thanks for asking! What's holding me back is a bunch of things. I am busy in my regular life, and since I am a professor and I work from home, I feel like I never get away from work. But also my habit is to feel like I have to have everything else done before I'm "allowed" to write -- Like, writing is my "reward" once all the not-fun stuff is done. But since I'm never done with my endless to-do list, well ... this is why I think about writing all the time but I rarely write.
@pixielauren that's tough :( I'm a teacher IRL and I feel you. Grading quarterly assessments and all I want to be doing is working on finishing up my novel. Still, don't let yourself burn out on work!

@pixielauren Oh, have you tried to sit down and just get some words onto the paper today? Nothing like just sitting down and writing to get past a block.
