I have thoughts but before I lend them to you, can you link any proof to your claim that the "Taliban" made attempt to turn on #osamabinladen and hand him to the #unitedstates ?

@RememberUsAlways
It's complicated, and difficult to both remember and research because a lot of this was 20 years ago and buried in political bullshit, but the main point is that invading Afghanistan was the primary goal, not getting Bin Laden: they could have had him. Remember that Bin Laden was not a member of the Taliban, only working with one of their members.

Here's some stuff...

Al JazeeraTaliban ‘offered bin Laden trial before 9/11’By Mujib Mashal

@raccoon

Could have had him but didn't. Could have had a sham Taliban Trial of Osama prior to 9/11 but didn't.

What is this nonsense?

I'll tell you what did happen.

I'm not sure if you know this but Al-Zawahiri was Bin Laden’s leader. He was with Bin Laden all the way — the whole time. The #unitedstates killed him in Kabul, #Afghanistan in 2022.

@raccoon

Nations give refuge to terrorists even still today. It took 10 years of hunting to take Osama off the battlefield and the United States is still here.

Another reason for 10 years of mid-east oil adventures was and still is Saudi and Iranian Oil.

It's complicated how we gave away the oil survey technology to the Arab nations prior to WW1, but I'll save that mistake for another story.
