We just pushed a change on @write_as that adds the publish date on blog posts when a blog is set to the "Blog" display format. This finally makes the post view consistent with the blog's index page.

@hectic So the language of the date is determined by the preferred language set in your browser.

If you want to change it on published posts, you can click "Edit" on your post, then press the small “i” icon in the top-right of the editor. This will take you to the metadata editing page where you can change the post's language.

Otherwise, would having a setting that overrides the browser language for posts be useful in your case?
