Write.as @write_as

We're working to build a suite of tiny, focused tools that all work together, and share the same simplicity and privacy-awareness of Write.as. This little platform is just the start.

Now you can along with each of them right here in the fediverse:

@readwriteas - stories from Write.as
@snap_as - photo and album hosting
@htmlhouse - HTML hosting

@draft_as - collaboration on text
@jot_as - private, encrypted notes

@write_as jot.as sounds interesting. Can you share any details about it, or will those come when we're closer to the public unveiling of the app?

@scottnesbitt Sure, the general plan is to launch mobile and desktop apps with the same simple editor as Write.as, but with features meant for private notes, like search, tag-based organization, and cross-device syncing. For syncing, everything would be encrypted on the client-side so notes are kept totally private.

We'll flesh out the exact details more as we get closer to developing and launching the app, but that's the idea right now.

@write_as Thanks for the info. I'll be keeping an eye out for the launch announcement

@scottnesbitt sounds great! Would love to get your early feedback when it launches.

Matt, this sounds very promising. As a happy pro-user of write.as (and snap), i would love to see this happen.
