What #BoardGames do you really like, but you just can't win at? Whether it be solo or multiplayer?
Mine is Wayfarers of the South Tigris. I've played it 12 times against the solo AI deck, and I have NEVER won a single time. I've tried all the decks too, and I suck against every single one.
Tonight, I thought I was doing so well. It was finally going to be my time! I had so many space cards and inspiration cards... lost by 10 points.
We just played our first game of The Vale of Eternity, and we enjoyed it a lot! Can't wait to get this one back to the table.

Just got my copy of Winter Rabbit from Absurdist's Kickstarter! I havent gotten to play it since the beta. I need to find some time to play it soon.
Its a fun coop game based on Cherokee fables. Design and art are both by Cherokees.
Our 9 YO wanted to play "the cheese game" tonight so we got a 3p play of #Fromage in. I still really like the twist on worker placement that this #BoardGame serves up.

Finally got #Viticulture (with the Tuscany exp.) to the table this last weekend for a 5 player game! I’d picked up the game from one player 2 years ago, but it was the first time he’d played with Tuscany. The victor took an early 32 point win, but it was a good time nonetheless.
Also played #ModernArt, an auction game where you artificially inflate the value of your auctioned art for big profit! Or at least that was my takeaway. Either way, ‘twas a fun one!

We ended off things with my own "Hell's Kitchen". Once players got the hang of the first round, it worked fine. I made some changes with the roles, speeding things up. Unfortunately I had to cut it a bit short to get to my ride back to my bed.

Next up we played Bellum Stellas by the youngest Protospieler of the weekend, Silas Hamilton, played with Kevin Levy and Mark Hamilton. While an old-style grognard #wargame was not really my thing these days, this ambitious game harkened back to that. A remarkably mature design for such a young guy, and Silas absorbed our advice like a sponge. It was great seeing his design evolve over the weekend.

Our 12 YO really got into playing #Everdell this weekend. He played it once with Linds helping him and then two more times on his own, and one of them he won!
I also had my first win against #Nightweave in the #Mistwood expansion. I tried out the Personality module and the Plots modules, both which I enjoyed. Next time I play, I will try out the Plans module.

Das Spiel habe ich noch nicht 1x im 2P gegen Frau gewonnen. Heute sah es gut aus bis zum vorletzten Zug, indem sie sich 2x Extraaktionen erspielte. Das brach meiner Gewinnabsicht das Genick.
Ansonsten ein tolles, aber verzwicktes Spiel. Man muss von allem etwas haben, weil alles mehrfach miteinander verwoben ist auf eindrucksvoll gut ausbalanzierte Weise. 
Nur 4P stell ich mit zu lang vor. 2P funktioniert toll.
