An appeal to the academics in the fediverse.
I'm reading Piranesi, by Susanna Clarke, in which there's a reference to this article:
Timey-Wimey: Steven Moffat, Blink and J. W. Dunne's theories of Time, Journal of Space, Time and Everything, Volume 64, University of Minnesota Press.
Can't find the article or the journal, though the press exists.
Probably a cod reference but it sounds so plausible it ought to be true. All three elements exist, and I really want to read it.
Finally sat down and watched 'The Well'. What a great episode! S2 is going from strength to strength. Belinda is amazing as the new companion, and Ncuti Gatwa is just phenomenal. Has the charm, otherworldliness, and vulnerability of the 11th Doctor, but also completely does his own thing on a whole different level.
I also love how this season the show manages to stretch the limits of its 12+ rating and touches upon horror-y territory to such a degree. More of that, please.
Obviously I must be wrong because everyone else seemed to love it. But I much preferred the wackiness of #Lux. Despite the abysmal plot detailing of that too.
I just keep feeling the writer has given up putting the effort into crafting the script. Things are just thrown around for fun. It looks fantastic, but it’s missing the essential of good writing.
It’s also gone quite meta, which I actually enjoy, but it does remind me a bit of late 80s #DrWho.
I seem to be going against the #DoctorWho fandom tide. I really didn’t much like #TheWell. The setting was wonderful, and the sets to support it. Actors were mostly spot on, and some of the ideas were great. I should be loving it, so what’s the problem?
It’s just the general level of writing. Too many things were barely explained, if at all, and the plotting was too full of little holes that took me out of suspending disbelief. Plus link thing to an old #DrWho ep, unnecessary.
Well, I was wrong; she's not a doctor but a nurse.
Bit nervous for this week's Doctor Who.
Loved the episode two weeks ago.
Last week's episode didn't feel tight on concept or execution.
But onwards and upwards with a bow tie because bow ties are cool now - as are a Fez- cricket whites and Jelly Babies

Just watched Dr. Who: Planet of Evil. It was really good. Great sets, FX and fantastic, over the top, acting. The plot was a little nebulous and what should been the most tense part was replaced by the line "I had a chat with it". All in all, solid fun.
So far, my rankings for Tom Baker are:
1. Ark in Space
2. Revenge of the Cybermen
3. Genesis of the Daleks
4. Planet of Evil
5. Terror of the Zygons
6. Sontaran Experiment
7. Robot
Scripting my podcast, I needed a short break. And made the mistake to read an article about the parallel reality on the other side of the pond. OMG.
Only *one* short article and you're torn between accusing this #felon regime of massive abuse of a completely derailed designer drug or believing that aliens have taken over the White House and are secretly farting. Can someone pls call the Doctor!?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYX2VhXxEIc

Elon Musk, AKA " Mr- Ket-A-mine", is rumored to looking for an exit out of politics.
Hoping this is more than a rumor, as we don't need some drug fueled swatzi dork running budget cutting rampages through our social security and student loan programs.

I’m probably just developing a case of false memory as I feel almost certain that I did watch the episode where he said this. But there is no evidence I can find in the web and the blatant lies of Google Gemini make the search even more difficult. Who can help?

Nice piece about the new Doctor Who crew, minimal spoilers.
"It is a good sign, surely, that Doctor Who and his new time-travelling companion seem to get along. When we enter the room to interview Ncuti Gatwa and Varada Sethu in New York, they are in fits of laughter. It is the back end of a conversation about their mothers washing dishes.
"And if that tells us next to nothing about the new season of Doctor Who, it does tell us that numbers one and two on the call sheet – still crying with laughter – have developed a rapport."
