Sometimes, a landscape best lends itself as a monochrome image.
Ullswater in Cumbria's Lake District and a vista that includes the distant Kirkstone Pass. Once hiked across these hills from Ambleside to Glenridding. It was August, but still had to seek shelter next to a drystone wall during a heavy hailstorm.
