I thought I had everything well thought out. Warm tea, some crackers, beanie, but did not think about checking the battery of my camera. Was able to take some pictures when it was dark still, but then it went dead (still charging now before I can access those). So was only able to take pictures of the actual sunrise with my mediocre phone camera. I was looking forward in tinkering with the camera, but settled for enjoying the quietness of early morning (and the squirrels) instead.

It is slowly becoming winter-like. After the temperature drop, also some snow until approx 1300 meter.

Small local hike today. Autumn is coming. Things will even get more vibrant.

Having birthday dinner of our exchange student and her friends on Lake Thun. Still not summer-like in Switzerland, but it was cosy on board in this weather.

Besides her birthday, it was also a first goodbye to people as she will fly back this Friday. A laugh an a tear tonight.

No wind today and walking the "Strandweg" from Spiez to Faulensee along Lake Thun was beautiful.

The real high mountains are not visible from here, but therefore a nice view on the Morgenbergorn in the middle and the Dreispitz on the right (highest snow-capped one).
