Never considered this. The #Trump shakedown of legal firms for pro bono work isn't about the money. It's at least partially about forcing lawyers who have plenty of other opportunities to get paid and explore interesting issues, forcing them to take cases based on crackpot #MAGA legal theories that they'd otherwise never argue for. And maybe you could pay a decent lawyer to support, but you'd have to pay them a lot more and they'd be risking their reputation.

Leopards are out in force, eating one face after another. Most #Republicans are too cowardly to hold town halls, the ones who do are getting an earful, and in the rest of the districts looks like people are calling #MAGA radio to express their anger. The fact that right wing hosts are allowing these angry statements about Trump means the wind is really shifting.

My sneakers looked like sandals with all my toes fully exposed, my jacket looked like rags that moths had orgies in, my shirts both torn and faded, my jeans full of rips, tears, and holes, and all of them larger or smaller than they should have been because they were either a hand-me-downs or old gifts that I had long past grown out of. So when I finally got a new jacket, for the first time in my life, that was not given to me out of some form of sympathy, and that I could pick out, myself, that was a special day. It was followed by the next day, when I was waiting for the school bus, and someone asked me "who I represented", and when I did not understand the question, because it made no sense to me, some jerk likely suffering from mental illness, pulled out a gun, and told me I need to stop disrespecting his "peeps" and take off the jacket. My jacket was yellow and black, the jerk claimed it was "Latin Kings" colors, which I did not know what that meant either. I was 8 years old at the time. I had no concept of what a gang was. I just knew, from that point on, they were punks who threaten violence, and that view has never changed, even after they were long gone. I do not respect gangs or what they stand for. I believe they are stupid and unnecessary, while being cruel and dangerous, and only losers see them as anything else. RN: I can blindly claim anyone is a gang member or a terrorist, and then claim the burden of proof is on that poor, innocent individual that they are indeed innocent, which is an impossible thing to do. And with this logic, someone could make such an accusation to justify the damnation of any individual. We have seen this type of behavior before - The Salem Witch Trials. This is Donald John Trump's brand of justice. Anyone they dislike, they can claim is a gang member or terrorist, and without any evidence, off to a 3rd world country to die, you go. #BurnTheWitch #SalemWitchTrails #Justice #RuleOfLaw #ElSalvador RE: I want it known, that if I ever "vanish", that I am not part of a gang, and never have been part of a gang, but it is very convenient to use a double-negative, and claim people are gang members. An example of a harmless double-negative argument: > " Prove to me, and everyone else you did not sneeze, two weeks ago, and if you cannot, that must mean you sneezed! " It is that same type of nonsensical, circle argument that internet trolls make, as their "gotcha", and it is that same mindset Donald John Trump's regime is making today. And I suspect they will soon be making this claim against anyone they deem undesirable based on race, ethnic background, sexuality, gender, and political ideology.
