3CR Community Radio · Bob Dylan Part 1: a new bookLocal Melbourne author Chris O'Connor has just released a new book on Bob Dylan called, You Don't Need a Weatherman - Bob Dylan for Beginners (Melbourne Books, 2025). In the hour we try to cover some of the themes contained in the book such as, the many voices of Bob Dylan, the storyteller, cover versions of Dylan songs, Bob's own reworkings of his own songs, etc. In-between our talk we managed to play 8 Dylan songs - some classics, some surprises. No protest songs though, we are saving those for Part 2 in a few week's time.
