After watching Apartment 7A and seeing people calling it an "unnecessary remake" (even though it's a prequel):

If there's any movie that is "necessary", I would say it's a female directed derivative from a Roman Polanski movie about body autonomy, abortion and abuse.

I really enjoyed Apartment 7A & I'm surprised the RT score is so low. It's a decent story built around a couple of lines from Rosemary's Baby with great performances, ample homages, and a genuinely disturbing, surreal yet dazzling "dream" sequence. It's a little silly/thin in places but absolutely worth a watch. Oh, and Hail, Satan.

#FXNetwork has a due date for #AmericanHorrorStory Season 12, subtitled #Delicate and based on the upcoming novel #DelicateCondition -- described as a feminist remake of #RosemarysBaby -- Wednesday, September 20. The season will be split into two part (probably due to the strikes) but it's currently not known at what point the split occurs, when Part 2 will air, and how many episodes will air per week as Season 11 ran back-to-back episodes for five weeks.
