New Year Older Jon<p>Now that it’s warmer, I’ve been able to get to the dojo with my husband and watch the tai chi class. </p><p>The last time I went was two weeks ago and I could only sit and watch. Tonight I totally surprised myself and was able to do the full Yang style 40 form before sitting down!</p><p>I’ve been on the new meds for three weeks now. Greg Globe Trainer<p>Fajin is the principle of compressing force before releasing it. It is somewhat like skipping a stone on water. The entire arm remains relaxed, allowing energy to accumulate. Arne Babenhauserheide<p>Walking the 24-form twice a day saved me from worsening hip pain — and as a side effect after three years of just 15 minutes per day and focusing on the stretching part of the snake moving through the grass, I can bend down straight and touch my feet.</p><p>I had not been able to do that for 20 years.</p><p>And it helps me free my head after a day at the screen to walk the form just before bed. And warms my hands.</p><p>While I won’t win a street fight, I live a much better life thanks to <a href="https://rollenspiel.social/tags/TaiChi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TaiChi</span></a>.</p>
