The Guardian · IDF unit involved in Gaza paramedics’ killing was under command of brigade led by notorious Israeli generalBy Bethan McKernan

'When asked what the area would look like after they [the #IDF unit] were through, they replied: "Hiroshima. That's what I'm saying, #Hiroshima."'

A new report from Breaking the Silence ( #BtS), an Israel-based NGO, has compiled testimony from #soldiers who detail how they razed plots of land during the war in their mission to expand the buffer zone between #Gaza and #Israel deeper into the strip.

CBCIDF soldier details blowing up homes in Gaza, recalls seeing 'the signs of people's lives' | CBC NewsA new report from Breaking the Silence, an Israel-based NGO, includes interviews with Israeli soldiers who detail how they completely razed homes and infrastructure on a swath of land between Israel and Gaza to expand a buffer zone at least one kilometre further into the strip.

"#Israel's army has admitted its soldiers made mistakes".

It is unclear whether the #IDF's mistakes refer to claiming the #RedCrescent vehicles were "advancing without headlights or emergency signals", closing the area of the killing for 7 days, preventing local/international access, concealing the bodies/vehicles in a shallow mass grave using a bulldozer, or missing a mobile phone in there that was later to reveal all the above was a #warcrime

The kind of ‘mistake’ that a war crime is.

Talk about mealy mouthed hypocrites full of weasel words!

They don’t even have the honesty, courage or gumption to own their own xxxxxx [fill in the blank yourself - I don’t even want to say the word…] 😐

Israel attacked ambulance crews and fire fighters and buried the vehicles and bodies

#Ambulances and fire trucks from the #RedCrescent and civil defence teams had coordinated with the #IDF, OCHA (a #UN humanitarian agency), and the #RedCross several days ago. The IDF must have known their whereabouts, just like they did with the World Central Kitchen workers, and they killed them anyway.

Council Estate Media · Israel attacked ambulance crews and fire fighters and buried the vehicles and bodiesBy Ricky Hale

They commit a war crime.
Then they lie about it.
Their trolls defend them.
The proof come out.
They admit "mistake were made":
- shot at amBulances and emergency vehicles clearly visible with lights on
- they executed the medics and drivers
- they buried them in massgraves

They will investigate themselves
They will make a stupid statement
They move on and expect the world to forget.

REPEAT AGAIN, AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
