$Pixel art of a room exhaling centuries. Stone breathes in the dimness, a floor fractured like a forgotten language underfoot. Two mouths of doorways gape on the left, one a shadowed promise, the other a sliver of swallowed passage. A spine of books rises on the right, a petrified forest glowing with captured emeralds - suspended objects dangle like luminous fruit from its branches. Rough-hewn walls are the bones of a larger being, holding the weight of untold stories. The desk before the bookshelf is an altar to lost knowledge, a silent congregation of ink and paper. A green luminescence spills from the shelves, a slow bloom of forgotten magic. The floor is a map of breaks and absences, each slab a lost continent. A small table holds a porcelain ghost - a vase, emptied of its blossoms. A chair leans, a weary sentinel. Near the doorway, a stone figure stands, a petrified guardian against the dust. Performed in a very informal rendition of "The Madwoman of Chaillot" today. It's a French play from 1943 that still feels deeply relevant today.

It's been over a decade since I was last on any semblance of a stage. Silver lining to the world being a dumpster fire: personal hang-ups and insecurities suddenly feel trivial and irrelevant.
