trancey weekly beats stream ahead of schedule!
I spotted @laamaa's post about his new album 'M8 II' on Friday but only just now had a chance to listen -- it's incredible. If you like chiptune or synthwave at ALL, this is a MUST hear (and his other stuff too). The melodies, and the dynamics, the tracks all flow so well. 
Sure, DAW is great for automation/movement, but I'd never get any of the #weeklybeats done if it wasn't for the bed sessions. REP is definitely the heavy lifter in my tracks.
Haven't felt good about a few bars of music for a couple of weeks now. FInally the curse has been broken last night! The mix is still a bit muddy on the low end, but dig the syncopated synth hit in this.
I thought it was time to return to the Dirtywave M8 Adventures and I'm shocked at how much of it is permanent muscle memory already. As always, a super fun time.
WIP tentatively called "That Cave Level where the Lava Rises".
As usual, it was probably way more fun to make than to listen to, but I am sure vibing

Impressive support from #DirtyWave: I just bought a 2nd hand #M8Tracker (thus didn't put any money in their pockets). It has a broken display bezel. I sent them an e-mail asking for ways to replace it. Immediate response asking for an address to ship a replacement today/tomorrow. Wow!

Result of my insomnia last night. Little DNB sketch mainly leaning onto the sub legato. Hopefully will develop it into a full track.
