Prologues aren’t inherently bad, but a lot of authors use them to ‘cheat’ – revealing important information all at once, rather than hinting at it to build intrigue.
A big shortcoming of #Nix #devshells is that it's difficult to wrap #editor & #LSP configs for your project.
This is the number one thing I would want a #devshell for after installing dependencies, rendering them always inadequate/incomplete.

I just heard from @sascharode1986, the developer of SDF Modeler, that he'll be working on a macOS version. 
SDF Modeler is already available for free for Windows and #Linux.
As far as I'm concerned, SDF Modeler is one of the best SDF 3D tools around at the moment, featuring advanced options like nested shapes and a path-tracing renderer.
