To wrap up #PrideMonth, I want to share a recommendation for a great #LGBTQ #book I've read over the past few weeks: the first part of the Adrian Mayfield trilogy.
Unfortunately, this #novel set in #VictorianLondon is only available in Dutch, German, and Danish, but I still want to #review it since it's one of the best page-turners I've read in a long time.

It's October, so of course my mind suggests spooky stuff to write. Right now I've got a short in-progress set at a gay bar, involving a ghost of a past patron. My BF asked, "So how'd he die there?" but… I don't think he died at the bar. I think the bar is just the place that remembers him the best, that he had the most attachment to, and so it's the place that his revenant remains.

No, the main character doesn't have to be likeable, only interesting.
One of my writer friends wrote a story where everyone including the MC is kind of an arsehole but I still wanted to know what happens so, so badly.
