This one is an accidental blend of many genres that just decided to fit together in a surprisingly cohesive way. The idea was to iterate on the #dub #techno formula with #handpan chords, but it morphed into a strange #ambient journey through #IDM, #downtempo and even #dubstep.

That wobbly bass appeared out of nowhere and was a joy to make, especially because it's been years since I last dabbled with this kind of sound. I hope you'll like it!

I finally delivered on my two years old promise to make three EP's consisting of finished material from various jams and sketches. And damn it's important to me, thanks to fediverse I've released more music than ever.

All #music is coded in #Orca with #SunVox modular virtual #synth

30 years ago today, on 24 April 1995, Aphex Twin released his third album, ending his first analogue era before going digital.

"Sounds that are simultaneously comforting and scary – a fitting metaphor for the contemporary clash of technology and the humans befuddled by it"

"And while its flummoxing cadences provided a model for many beatmakers to come, no one has come close to the elegiac pop phrasing of “Alberto Balsalm.”"

Here is a moment from the larger work in progress, another track drafted in stylistic exploration. As honest as I can be, pulling on these threads of me.

All of what I do has acoustic instruments somewhere, but there is a nice electro-acoustic element to this one, kinda gives it a storybook feel or like the overture for a space opera.
