A quilt in progress pinned to a wall. It is a complicated kaleidoscopic arrangement of round blocks with star-shadows centers, joined together by rings of smaller stars. We are too far away to see details of individual fabrics but everything is gold, yellow, cream, white, grey, or black, with the balance leaning somewhat towards the lighter colors. The pieces form a large rectangle, with a few loose edges between large chunks not yet joined up, and a few tiny gaps around the edges.
