The fossil fuel burners are slowly backing down from science (they established) many years ago, but still cling to the fable that if we keep extracting, the taxes will pay for mitigation. Like fuck.

Of course this video is about money. About disaster relief and adaptation to the disasters that happened by Helene.
But eventually you won't be able to keep up: the country is just not making enough money anymore to pay for it, even if it wanted to. So relief and adaptation is a DEAD END.
Just stop burning things ! No more dinosaur fuel !
In the long run mitigation is the ONLY solution ! Turn the H**L around and clean up your industry. Use less, recycle materials and use only clean energy, and fast. And, for sure, let #BigOil pay for it. It'll bankrupt them but nobody will want them around anymore
