This is what my timeline looks with images from pixelfed.social . I only have these problems with #pixelfed instances and not with all of them. Every other Fediverse-platform federates their images just fine.

Pixelfed is a major pain in the ... you know where ... in that regard. For a software specializing in images it does an amazingly bad job.

Any news on stories on #Pixelfed on #iOS? Seems the fade just went away my feed isn't getting much updates anymore
