Another question for the #FilmPhotography / #shittycamerachallenge folks.
Sometimes when I'm taking pictures with #BoxCamera, like the #KodakBrownie, I wish I could zoom in on a distant subject.
Now a lot of people would probably say, "just get a real camera, dumbass!". But I think I'm in a safe space here among people who will support my attempts to figure out just what I can do with a 100-year old camera.
A lot of these old cameras have portrait (close-fucusing) attachments, and I have these for the Duaflex and the Hawkeye (they're harder to find for the original Brownie). It seems like a telephoto attachment ought to be possible. If they didn't make one, perhaps something could be rigged up?

A friend who had been using this 1950s junk store camera as a stash box gifted it to me. The Pho-Tak "Time" Traveler has a shutter speed of 1/50 of a second and an f stop of 11. The lens is a simple meniscus. I shot a roll of CineStill BWxx and a roll of CineStill 400D. If anything comes of it, I will let you know. #photography #ShittyCameraChallenge #Pho-Tak
