Happy Anniversary to JOHNNY GUITAR, which premiered on this day 70 years ago in Los Angeles.
“After helping a wounded gang member, a strong-willed female saloon owner is wrongly suspected of murder and bank robbery by a lynch mob.”

This has been in my top ten favorite movie list ever since I saw it the first time.

Naked Alibi (1954)

Average police procedural and copaganda of the worst kind.

There are two arguments in favor of the film: Sterling Hayden, it's always a pleasure to see and ESP: hear this man. And there's Gloria Grahame, who is probably one of the hottest femme fatales in film history.
Only because of her this 2 star movie gets my Like.
