Plastic tea bags are a notorious source of microplastics (both for the environment, and for people). Don't use them. Leisureguy<a href="https://mastodon.social/@dmariemart" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@dmariemart</a> I switched to tea few years ago, and I am fortunate in having an excellent tea store locally, Murchies.com.I highly recommend using loose tea, which generally uses larger leaves (tea bags tend to use fannings — basically tiny pieces of broken leaves, aka "dust".
