Top 40 Years Ago<p>40 years ago this week, "Drive" by <a href="https://musician.social/tags/TheCars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheCars</span></a> entered the <a href="https://musician.social/tags/Top10" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Top10</span></a> at 10. It peaked at 3 on 29 Sep 1984. I think this is my favourite song by them, and my least favourite video by them. Timothy Hutton was their manager's neighbour, proposed the video concept, and was then invited to direct it.
