This week's episode of #TheStudio is properly great. But it sent me looking at Ron Howard's directing credits which has genuinely surprised me.

I guess I first became aware of his directing with Apollo 13, so I assumed that was his first director gig. I've just learned that prior to that, films he directed that I've seen are:

- Splash
- Coccoon
- Willow
- Parenthood
- Backdraft
- Far & Away

And I had no idea they were his movies.

Expensive day, but I've picked up almost everything I need for my new modular mini rack, along with supplements, a screen protector that's less of a laceration risk, and other misc necessities.

Locations: the fictional movie studio is headquartered in a famous Frank Lloyd Wright house (seen in a lot of movies and tv shows such as Blade Runner, even in one episode of Firefly.)

There was some dialog acknowledging FLW, and the remodeled interiors are gorgeous!

episode 2 is filmed in another house that looks like one FLW's Usonian houses. I hope the location gets documented.
