Our not-so-happy, five year old English #Bulldog, presenting her unamused sideeye to the camera...

She loves sitting on the couch together with her (pet) humans, but these days she is not allowed up without wearing diapers... which (apparently) is nothing less than a mortal humiliation!

If dogs had thumbs, she would have picked up a phone and reported us for animal cruelty long ago! 😬😄🩸🩸🩸

Carini made it clear that she felt "sorry" for Khelif, stating that the #debate over Khelif's #gender was #unfair to both of them.

She explained that Khelif "had nothing to do with it" and that both were simply there to #compete.

Carini also #apologized for not #shaking Khelif's hand after the match, attributing her actions to #frustration over her #OlympicDreams ending, and clarified that she had no #personalissues with Khelif

🥥 Satire from Andy Borowitz:
Trump sez he can't debate Kamala Harris in September because he perished in a helicopter crash several decades ago.
He asserted from beyond the grave that ABC is very unfair to dead people. Sad!

The Borowitz Report · Trump Backs Out of Debate by Claiming He Died in Helicopter CrashBy Andy Borowitz

It’s no surprise that big #polluting companies are not happy about annual #CarbonTax increases. But it is #unfair that #BritishColumbians must pay the full carbon tax when the #OilAndGas industry, whose production is responsible for more than one-quarter of #BritishColumbia #CarbonEmissions, gets a carbon #TaxBreak.

The new system will also have a negative impact on B.C.’s carbon #TaxRevenues. In 2024-25, carbon tax revenues will be about $500 million lower than they would have been under the old system. This #RevenueLoss means fewer dollars to pay for #ClimateAction.

These changes point to a #BCgovernment that is far too cosy with the oil and gas #industry. And they make no sense given the urgency of acting on #ClimateChange. #Disasters in 2021 alone caused between $11 billion and $16 billion in damage to the #BCeconomy.

If B.C. really wants to be a #climate leader, the government must stop pandering to lobbying by the oil and gas industry that is causing climate change and act in the interests of all British Columbians
