good morning friends, it's time for another round of #LifeStuff, the tag for trying to get things done. it's been a while since I've done one
to-do list:
✓ eat breakfast
- start a load of laundry
- unpack/put away blankets and towels (now that the linen closet is accessible)
... and idk, maybe I'll do more, but that list is making me tired already. me wanting to do a Life Stuff post is usually a good sign that I'm climbing out of a #depression pit, but I've been very depressed for many months, so I'd rather not overdo it
anyway, here goes! I just finished my breakfast, let's start some laundry!

Gestern kam das Paket mit dem „The Spectrum“ an, einem Nachbau des Sinclair ZX Spectrum von 1982.
Neben einer Reihe von installierten Spielen, die mich nicht wirklich interessieren, gibt es auch die Möglichkeit den Computer wie damals zu nutzen. An diesem Gerät habe ich die Programmiersprache Basic gelernt.

We just had a wild ride the past month selling and buying a house, plus #moving #packing #unpacking so I hadn't done our #budget since late August. I just spent an hour and got caught up. I can't believe I got two checkbooks, three savings accounts, a #mortgage, and taxes all balanced to the penny. As my check-balance number moved from positive to negative, I wondered if I'd figure it out. But then it was +$18 and I forgot we paid for checks, which were $18. It went to $0.00 and I shouted HAH!

Today I used an external library function that returned a value inside a nested list 
Something like this 
def api(): return [["x"]]
Since I couldn't modify it, I looked for ways to extract the returned value 
Which one do you prefer?
