Sou
I'm disappointed that one of my favourite go-to sites for tech and other discussions (Whirlpool) is now censoring some posts that criticise Trump.

I first noticed something odd at the time Musk bought Twitter, when the owner censored posts that criticised Elon Musk. At the time, I figured he was a fan of Musk because of his tech or was defending Musk's behaviour because of Musk's supposed Aspergers.

Now I find the moderators are censoring comments about Trump's fascist attributes and his autocratic aspirations. I'm not talking about inflammatory troll type posts. I'm talking about straight factual posts referencing sources such as NYT.

So, if you post on Whirlpool, just be aware of their unwritten policies/support for Musk and Trump.

In contrast to their political views, Whirlpool is sensible when it comes to discussions about climate science. So it's a mixed bag.

However, unless they show me they've disavowed support for Trump, I'll not be commenting at WP again. I cannot support a business that favours or excuses fascism.

#Auspol #censorship #Whirlpool #Musk #Trump
