(And yes, I have written about this: https://tedium.co/2019/06/20/geoworks-geos-history/)
@danhon All for it! I literally put this post on here just in hopes that someone would see it and reply!
@ernie I mean, I'm following you anyway...
@ernie YES, GeoWorks Ensemble and GeoWrite got me through high school. In retrospect, running a Windows-like GUI on my 8088 XT + CGI monitor was quite a feat.
@brownpau Awesome! I did a lot of weird design experiments in GeoWrite and GeoDraw.
@ernie how do I dip my toes into GEOS. Color me intrigued.
@happystardiaz You can find it on WinWorldPC, and it works (with some minor tweaking) with Dosbox. https://winworldpc.com/product/geos/geoworks-1x

@ernie
I remember running this on my C64.
@ernie Here! My thread at the now-defunct social media site Twitter: https://twitter.com/sillygwailo/status/1279245760786202626
@sillygwailo Love it! Thanks for sharing my piece. Obviously the fandom runs deep :D
@ernie Oh, here's a name I hadn't heard in a while. I never used GeOS myself but I worked with people who had worked at Geoworks.
@ernie Oh man, I have fond memories of booting up GEOS on my old C64.
