Quite the opposite. Tasmania is very remote and it's difficult to find people with similar interests and form a new group of friends. Especially at my age.
@golgaloth I wish I were there! We would drink coffee/tea and enjoy the outdoors together! My husband would love exploring the outdoors!

I've spent a lot of time walking around the various trails, lacking anything else to do. It is a superbly beautiful part of the world.

@golgaloth I hope some really awesome ppl move near to you! I have a 17 acre farm (my grandparents live there everybody else left) I can def get isolating! Thank goodness for the internet and electronic connection!
