How many times is food mentioned in your work? Is it even central to the story?

@golgaloth Heh. Lots. Last scene I wrote was in a restaurant, one of two restaurant scenes (so far, but I don't actually expect a third).

@golgaloth so many times. The primary setting is a wooden town on stilts inside an ancient sea volcano. They have rooftop farms and orchards, beehives at the gable ends, and have a whole profession of MusselScrapers foraging food from the columns that support the town above the waves.

Food is central fixture of daily life. The Baron is very partial to a pie made with imported meat at Cafe Chez Adeline in the central square.
