I am beyond excited for this grant proposal from @servo@floss.social and @redox

YES!

@erlend @servo @redox @robin Nice! I recently found out that Google is working on open font libraries in Rust, maybe it's helpful https://github.com/googlefonts/fontations
@erlend @servo @redox @ngisargasso @robin I'm really enjoying watching Redox slowly transitioning from 'hobby project' to 'actually viable platform'. Good stuff.
@jsbarretto @erlend @servo @ngisargasso @robin It's a serious project for years.
Redox started as an experiment to know if a good OS could be written in Rust.
Since the unikernel to microkernel migration more people joined, suggested ideas and improved the system.
@redox @erlend @servo @ngisargasso @robin To be clear, I don't consider "hobby project" and "serious project" to be mutually exclusive. Up until fairly recently Redox has, to me, been clearly in the 'hobby' camp because it's only been a viable OS for hobbyists.
@jsbarretto @erlend @servo @ngisargasso @robin Good point, I though the same.
@erlend @servo @redox @ngisargasso Really cool, looking forward to seeing what comes out of it!
