Thee Mighty Peculia<p>I got a paper letter from TicketMaster telling me my info was hacked. I haven't used that service in 5 years. It never occurred to me that buying a ticket was their cue to hold onto my info forever without keeping it secure from hackers. Bellis Coldwine<p>Kudos Robert Smith for fighting back. We'll only get real change if there's legal action and collective action from MULTIPLE artists. Pearl Jam couldn't do it themselves, the Cure can't either. That said we got pricey but not astronomical tickets to the NYC show and are thrilled- so his agitation made a big difference. Under $200 is a moderate price these days- and he fought to get our fees back. We could not afford Depeche Mode or any other big concerts. I saw Jane's Addiction back in the day for $25- most recent show was well over $600 at MSG.
